The mess
My first contract work. UAV Pro handed us years of accumulated features: chat systems, file storage, weather monitoring, classroom management, billing. All grown organically without any cohesion.
Three users, one platform
The platform needed to serve three completely different people. Students checking assignments and weather before flights. Teachers managing classrooms and communications. Administrators overseeing everything. Each needed their own logic, not just cosmetic variations.
Weather widgets for pre-flight checks. Event planning for meetups. Project management with drag-and-drop file handling. Message threads that actually made sense. The dashboard became a command centre instead of a cluttered inbox.
How it went
The company was ecstatic with the final designs. Sometimes good work is just that. Solving a practical problem cleanly, no grand meaning attached.
